No7 Radiant Results Revitalising Toning Water {REVIEW}

n07 toner review
I do not believe in anything that says toning water. Is it supposed to be a toner made out of water? If I wanted that, I would get water from my sink and use it.

The reason I wanted to review this toner is that it claims you will have radiant and healthier looking skin in one week. That is a pretty massive claim for toning water. It also says it will reduce the appearance of pores and prepares the skin after cleansing. I didn't really care to look for the last two claims because I don't have huge pores and toner is supposed to be a prep for the rest of your skincare routine after cleansing.

N07 Toner
The first thing I always look for in the ingredient list is alcohol. My skin breaks out at any kind of alcohol in skincare products. Most toners have alcohol in them, but this one did not! Which is a huge bonus!!! Props to N07 for not putting an unnecessary ingredient in their product.

Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Butylene glycol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 20, Sodium citrate, Panthenol, Sodium Methylparaben, Sodium benzoate, Citric acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Tetrasodium EDTA, Panax ginseng root extract

The main thing was that this toning water was formulated with red ginseng. Red ginseng is supposed to be really good for anti-aging. It brightens your skin, and it has a natural ability to balance oily skin. All those things are nice, but the root extract is the LAST ingredient on the list. Who knows how large that percentage is in the product.

I mostly wanted to focus on my oily skin being balanced. I do not need to work on anti-aging yet since I'm only 18 but I do remind you to wear sunscreen to prevent any early aging or skin problems.

Here's a photo of me the first day I used this product:

n07 Toner Review

I first started using this every day twice a day. After a while, I only used it at night because I thought it wasn't really worth it to use in the morning. It is supposed to cleanse my face and at first, I kind of thought it was a makeup remover. It wasn't, and I was also using this stuff with my hands. You can probably imagine how I felt when I read on the bottle you are supposed to use a cotton pad. Thank goodness there is 6.7 oz cause I wasted SO much. I spilled most of the stuff which was supposed to go on my face onto the floor.

I didn't think this product would be doing anything for my skin. I feel like it made my skin a little bit dryer and it burnt the area around my nose. The sides of my nose get red easily, and the revitalizing toner made it look almost burnt. The stinging went away after a few minutes, but I didn't like it either way.

This does feel like just water. There isn't a sticky feeling, and it dries super fast. It doesn't feel heavy on my face but water, in general, makes my face feel dry. I always need to use a gel or cream to make my skin feel more hydrated. Even though I have oily skin, it is incredibly dehydrated. I am still working on that.

Here's a photo of my skin after a week of using this:
N07 Toner Review

Can you see a difference? I don't really at all. My skin looks exactly the same, but some of my pimples have gone down. The toner didn't do that I use other skincare for my acne.

My skin around my nose was irritated and red after every use. I also think this stung my eyes when I cried. I do complain a lot over random things. My skin wasn't bright, hydrated or any of the claims that were supposed to happen.

Do I recommend this product? Eh, not really.

I do think it would be nice for a makeup remover and not just as a toner. Maybe if you do not have very troubled skin, you could use this as an excellent refresher. I do not recommend for sensitive skin.

Out of 10 stars, It is about a 3/10. I did not notice any difference and my nose area was itchy and irritated. I plan on giving this to my sister who is using cleansing water to remove the dirt and makeup from her face.

I hope you enjoyed this review! It is really the first one I have ever done. Give me some suggestions on what I should review next!

  1. So, thank you for sharing your story with us! I must say the review is a little messy. First you tell us that you did not read instructions for product, which is clearly necessary when it comes to what you are putting on your face... I understand the label says "toning water" but most toners first ingredients are water so I wouldn't judge something based off just that. Alcohol is a big red sign! So props for looking out for that. Thats the first thing I did when looking at this product and it played a big reason as to why I ended up buying it.
Anyway, so you began applying this product incorrectly but I want to point something else out. You were using this product for the wrong purpose. "revitalizing toning water", "sweep over cleansed skin with cotton wool", bam. This is a toner. Not cleansing water. The only time the word cleanse is on this bottle is when it is telling you to apply this product on CLEANSED SKIN. This product shouldn't have been used for a make up remover or to clean your skin. IT is used to balance your skin pH, and according to label produce more radiant and healthier skin. This product should never have been close to your eyes!! Also the label says this product is suitable for sensitive skin so with proper usage the account may be different for others!!
