Best 4 Toners For The 7-Skin Method

October 12, 2018
There is a trend in the Asian beauty world called the "7-Skin Method." This method is taking a hydrating toner and layering it onto your skin seven times. Of course, you don't have to do it 7 times, but for someone who has extremely oily and dehydrated skin, I could probably use more than 7.

Here are the best toners to use for this method.  Not going in any specific order of course.

  • PYUNKANG YUL ESSENCE TONER

The main ingredient is 90% Astragalus Membranaceous root extract which has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes redness.
I have used this for about a month, but I noticed if I only use one drop at a time, my skin feels super dehydrated and worse than before.
I recommend using about 3 drops and then patting it into the skin. It is hypoallergenic and a 3 on the moderate hazard scale on EWG.

  • THAYERS WITCH HAZEL ROSE PETAL TONER

This toner is 100% alcohol-free making it very hydrating.
This also has aloe vera in it to soothe irritated skin.
Full with Vitamin C which will lighten dark spots and acne scars.
The only downside is if you are allergic to fragrance.
This toner does have a very strong rose petal smell.

  • KIKUMASAMUNE SAKE SKIN LOTION HIGH MOISTURE
Kikumasamune Sake Skin Lotion High Moisture - 500ml
This product is 100% made in Japan.
The bottle is 500ml so you can also use this as a lotion on your body.
The high moisture comes from Japanese rice which is very hydrating and soothing.
The ingredients contain no alcohol, but the last component is fragrance.

  • INNISFREE GREEN TEA MOISTURE SKIN

I have been using this toner since June and have not run out yet.
Less is way more with this product since it is pretty thick.
So if you do have oily skin, be careful because it can feel a little bit heavy and can get oily.
The green tea smell is not irritating at all.
I recommend this one for people with dehydrated skin.

And those are the four best toners for the 7 skin method! These are my opinions, and you might think differently. All skin types are different in their own ways.
